  2. Personally I prefer this to "Milk Wood" ...are there gasps ? It is a freer flowing session with strong tunes.I think there may be a few extra tracks/takes in Victor's vault....can someone get them ? Afro Charie....a gem !!

    1. Well, I fall into the school that considers "Starless and Bible-Black" to be one of the great pieces of music of all time - not just in jazz but everything - so it's not obvious that I'm going to agree with you here. But I'm sure as hell going to have a good time finding out :-)

      Thanks for this post!

  3. From the June22 session there is another take of Afro Charlie and from the July 13 session another take of Let Them Crevulate, 3 takes of Everywhere Derriere and 1 take of Amoroso Only More So. Would be great to hear them

  5. Wow - I was looking for this music several years ago but didn't find a copy (as far as my account allowed). Forgot about and now I see it posted here.
Bluebird and Rodney - Thank you!
And I thought Easter is good only for coloured eggs :-)
