Thanks, but why are the four tracks omitted ?
ReplyDeleteMany thanks - this one I've been waiting for, the chance to hear Acker with Tracy.
ReplyDeleteAs I'm not a great Acker collector, I'd also welcome the four missing tracks.
And that is a great cover!!
ReplyDeleteAh! I see the original album only had 8 tracks - all becomes clear...
ReplyDeleteThe extra cd tracks were taken from a Stan Tracey lp - 'We Love You Madly' which had Acker on some tracks.
DeleteIt's on the list for ripping!
Nice looking post thanks very much Jazzandylan and Rodney.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks, Jazzandylan, Rodney and jazzuk!
ReplyDeleteOh now nice! Super! I have it playing even as I type - its good, I like it a lot, even the 'new' arrangement of 'Stranger..' a tune to which I was heavily overexposed as a child. Very nice album. All I need now is the rest of the Stan Traceys....oh I see, on the way. Always nice to have something to look forward to.
ReplyDeleteThanks Rodney and jazzandylan! Cheers!
ReplyDeleteInteresting mixture - many thanks.
ReplyDeleteThanks guys. Always wanted to hear this album. I'm a great fan of the Lansdowne label.
ReplyDeleteSeems odd to me!
