  2. thanks rodney. didn't know this. 'frenetic heights' says ubiquitous Spillett. 'arch vulgarian' said Max Harrison. not fair, a sensitive ballad player. I was too young to get into Ronnie's in 1967 but did hear him on the 'tenor of jazz' concert. the album seems not to be here.I did hear him in small club settings -- thinly populated small club settings -- on later tours and he always impressed with total professionalism.he also always delivered in gang-bang festival contexts.
