Good stuff, thanks!
ReplyDeleteHumph GEP8609 - Thank you very much. While "Looking For Turner" and "Waiting For Picard" have been reissued on at least one CD set the other two tracks are real rarities, apart from a rather obscure LP on the Dormouse label I don't think they've seen the light of day since the original EP. So thanks again BJ and bellawoods, much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteThanks very much
ReplyDeleteDiscographical note: All four tracks have actually been reissued on the Lake 2-CD set "Bad Penny Blues 1955-1956", which was released in 2007. It collects all of Lyttelton's Parlophone recordings from those two years. Lyttleton's recordings at that time came out on a variety of formats: singles, EPs and LPs, but it's all there, in chronological order.
