  3. many thanks. odd. a Prestonism to put White with the band. apart from Baker they get little to do. a Benny Green solo. how we know it's Graham ? why on earth an alias ?

    2. It's an alias Kenny has used before on other recordings. Having said that, the same alias has been used by Benny Green too.
My assumption might not be correct then.

    3. expect it is Graham then. the alias because it was beneath his status to be mere sessionman ?

    4. Probably just for contractual reasons. It was a common ploy back then.

  7. Thanks guys,
don't remember seeing it before. To paraphrase (that may be French?) Jazzjet ... Really grabbing it because (i) I love the Blues, that's what got me into jazz (and the Stones got me into the Blues), (ii) Bertie King is in it and I kinda grab any ol' UK jazz record with West Indian musicians, (iii) Kenny Garham and Phil Seamen too ... that's lotsa reasons to give it a try! Cheers
