  3. Many Thanks...........''An LP under the title 'Big Band Explosion' was recorded for the Ember label. It was a studio recording with applause dubbed in and not a live recording from the Beaulie Jazz Festival as stated in the liner notes. All titles in The Beaulie Suite were arranged by Tony Crombie. The Springbok And American Suite was arranged by Alec Gould'' (British modern jazz Blog)

  4. If you can live with the distracting dubbed applause there is some fine playing here in excellent sound. An alternative sleeve has "Vic Lewis Allstars At The Beaulieu Festival" on the front but this is obviously a studio recording. Many thanks Rodney and bluebird
