Originally recorded in 1965 for Doug Dobell's 77 label this is the cd re-issue.
Peter Comton ran the band as a rehearsal band of semi-pros and studio musicians but included in the ranks on this recording are Art Themen and Ray Warleigh. This was the band's only commercial recording and a fine one it is too.

This really is a new one to me. One of the reasons this blog is so good and important. It brings out of UK Jazz History those who are not remebered or known today. Thanks everyone.
