All the tunes are compositions by trumpeter Al Fairweather and, as the title implies, feature the sidemen. Apart from the first track, which features the regular sidemen, invited guests then each have a solo spot on the remaining tracks.

  1. Many thanks for Sandy's Sidemen. Nice to know the Hairy One is not forgotten. I spent many happy hours in the 50's and early 60's listening to Sandy in London first with Al F. then later with the quintet Sandy had with Dick H-S.

    A real original of British jazz.
