Appreciate this is only an experiment, and kudos to Dave, but surely only required when a cover cannot be read or not available for some reason. Still, if it's no problem to do...fine.
ReplyDeleteThanks delmonico.
Thanks for this historical album and all the efforts going into this tremendous website.
ReplyDeleteCheers

Appreciated, thanks.
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff! Many thanks for this excellent post.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great blog you have! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI have looking for a Tubby Hayes - Paul Gonsalves recording called "Change of Setting". I heard a track called "Don't fall off the bridge" when I was in Tower records in London a long time ago. It was on a compilation so I didn't buy it and thought I'd find the CD. Well, I'm still looking! The original recording came out on World Records which was available as a mail order label. Can anyone help with more information or a flac even!
Best wishes to you and all your contributors.
jazzwallah - February 1965 so way outside our scope at the moment. Nice album though - hope you can get it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for another superb album with Tubby Hayes! It is most appreciated!
ReplyDeleteThank you kindly for the Tubby Hayes/Jazz Couriers. One I did not know - and I missed something: What a great record !!
ReplyDeleteJust fantastic music. The Couriers seem to have been in a class of their own in the UK at that time. Many thanks, as ever. Nice to have the PDF, too.
ReplyDeleteMore excellent stuff from this band - can't believe it took so long before I got to listen to them. The only trouble is I find myself wondering who is playing which sax solo. I guess the real connoisseurs could tell their styles apart. Guess I'll just have to listen to lots more. Many thanks!
ReplyDeleteThank you for all this great music
ReplyDeleteLate for me...any chance to re up it, Rodney? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteSure! It's only a matter of changing the format a little. New link below.
